Why the text is kept

How long
Messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the correspondence. The cookie choice stays until you clear site data in the browser. The session flag ends when the browser session ends.
Your requests
You can ask what the desk holds from a form you sent, and you can ask for a correction or deletion of that message, by writing to the desk. You can also clear the cookie choice yourself in the browser.
A complaint
If you believe the handling of your message is not lawful, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Naming that office is a description of a public right. It is not a registration of this site.
